THANKFUL FATHER – I’m so grateful to be a daddy. My boys are 8 and 12. My parents are both lifetime entrepreneurs – they are my heroes. Our ancestors have lived in California since the 15th century. They raised their families in the San Francisco Bay Area since my forefather (Lieutenant Moraga) founded the city of San Jose on November 29th, 1777. My heritage inspires me to create a legacy.

COLLABORATIVE FRIEND – I’ve been a tech entrepreneur in the Silicon Valley for 23 yrs. In that time, I’ve developed a lot of meaningful friendships. And sometimes…we collaborative to build things together. Kukui.com is an example of this. Kukui’s revenue increased every quarter for a decade, while we maintained profitability, in order to thrive without investors. Inc. 500 ranked us #1 fastest growing private company in San Jose because of our 3,943% growth rate. Kukui was acquired by a private equity firm (2019) after we exceeded ten million ARR bootstrapped. I’m grateful for all my courageous friends accomplished working together.

OPTIMISTIC FUTURIST – I’m graced with the vision to imagine a positive future and then build teams to develop products to manifest my hopeful ideas. I love being a part of brilliant teams leading innovative technologies. I’m excited about how Voice Tech (Alexa • Cortana • Google • Bixby • Siri), Distributed Ledger Tech (Blockchain • Crypto • NFTs), Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Augmented Reality are empowering human progress at an accelerated rate.
