This quick tutorial will show you how to set up drop in on your Alexa devices.  Drop-in acts as an intercom between Echo devices and Alexa users.

Amazon Tutorial:

Use the Alexa app to connect with your Alexa contacts and Echo devices in your home.

1. Open Communicate .
2. Select the Drop In icon.
3. Select the name of the device you want to drop in on.

To end the Drop In, touch the screen and select Hang Up.

Note: You can use the Alexa app to drop in on other devices, but other devices can’t drop in on the Alexa app. To drop in on a contact with a different Amazon account, both you and your contact must first grant each other Drop In permissions.
