In this presentation, Emily talks about sound and emotion, why sound is so powerful, and why it affects people so deeply. She will also talk about effective ways to use sound when connecting to people.
Emily is a conversational AI designer at Strategic Education, one of the hosts of Voice Spark Live, and a member of the Ethical Use Task Force of the Open Voice Network. Recently, she was on the winning team of the Digital Assistant Academy’s Hackabot, creating a chatbot that educates people on their local elections. She has experience in conversation design, UX writing, and UX design. Her passion is connecting to people through the construction of words and sound. Before becoming a conversation designer, Emily was a professional violinist, performing with various groups all over the world.
