Ahmed Bouzid
Dr. Ahmed Bouzid is Founder and CEO of Witlingo, a McLean, Virginia, based startup that builds products and solutions for Voice First devices and platforms, such as Amazon’s Alexa, Google’s Assistant, Microsoft’s Cortana, Samsung’s Bixby, and Alibaba’s AliGenie. Prior to Witlingo, Dr. Bouzid was Head of Alexa’s Smart Home Product at Amazon and VP of Product and Innovation at Angel.com. Dr. Bouzid is also co-founder and Director of the Ubiquitous Voice Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of evangelizing the emerging voice interface, and author of two books on Voice User Interface design. Dr. Bouzid holds 12 patents in the Speech Recognition and Natural Language Processing field, and is a visiting lecturer at Weber State University. Dr. Bouzid was recognized as a “Speech Luminary” by Speech Technology Magazine.
